Dear Poodle Family and Friends:

E. J. BENZ lived in the Gulf Port LA.  His house is still standing as he tells his client Sharla Roussel,
however it is not livable and the insurance doesn't cover any of his destruction and losses

So, I thought it would be good to donate directly to him and his causes due to the Hurricane
Katrina... rather than to a fund where I have no idea where the funds will end up.  He has supported
the Poodle Club of Alabama shows for years... along with many of the All Breed Clubs in the South.

He needs pet supplies, food and supplies for himself and his daughter.  They need funds to start
the repairs to his home and his kennel.  This could be done with a gift card from Home depot,
PetSmart, Wal-Mart or just plain cash...

He is a Poodle breeder, and handler for many years... and its not the fact that he might have
beaten you or you him... or that you think your dog is better than his...

But its the point that he is not able to live in his house and his dogs in his their kennel.  He will have
no local dogs to groom as many of his clients lost their homes and the last thing on their minds will
be to have the dog groomed this month.

His dogs are all with him and what he could get into his van was very limited.  Can you help out?  He
needs stuff ASAP.

He and his young daughter are at a client's home in Brandon MS several hours from Gulf Port.
They are safe and have a place to stay until he can get his home and kennel repaired.

I know anything you can send will be most appreciated!

There has been an overwhelming response for offers to foster Standard
Poodles; However, all rescues are being held for 30 days before being
placed.

As you can see she has now been bathed and is doing much better.
